Recently revamped and separating from the family owned Aristocrat, Alex III has opened its doors anew. Along with it, Smoke Daddy’s. Located right beside Alex III the resto was beautifully designed. I love the minimalist look and the right amount of light and ambiance. It set the mood perfectly for a relaxing dining experience.

Smoke Daddy’s is the Alex III equivalent for Steaks and Seafood, but since we wanted the Alex III menu it was also available. Cleverly enough, both restos shared the kitchen and the bathroom facilities which are also very very clean.

We ordered the Pork BBQ and Chicken BBQ. (Sad to say I was so hungry I completely forgot to take pictures of my CHICKEN BBQ!!)

They were both good. It would compete with the best of the BBQ’s out there. Although I would have preferred the meat on the stick to be a bit more thick. (Similar to Reyes’ BBQ or Inengs) But that is just to justify the price and say that it was one of the best tasting BBQ’s.

It was the perfect place to unwind and talk since it wasn’t too busy. Valet Parking was also offered. (But I never have my car valeted anyway.) I actually enjoyed the food. The ambiance was nice. The service quick. Happy to say that the revamped Alex III is here to stay and can compete with the best of them.

*Alex III is located along Wilson Street, San Juan City. Smoke Daddy’s is right beside it in front of Gloria Maris

Cheers & Happy Eating!

The interior design's remarkable. I sometimes eat out to gaze at the wall and light design/fixtures.
